In our 50-minute sessions, we’ll talk about what challenges you’re currently experiencing. If there was an unexpected element to your life transition (such as a sudden loss), we may consider using trauma-informed approaches to help relieve the shock and distress of the change.
If your life transition involves uncertainty about making a change, we’ll explore ways to connect with your sense of confidence in decision-making. Sometimes this involves learning about emotions and decision-making approaches, other times this involves mindfulness meditations that help you to connect with your inner wisdom and identify your values and needs.

With any change in life, there’s a loss that occurs. With loss, there’s a process of grieving. Each person’s grieving process is unique and therefore, the time it takes to navigate the emotions of grief may vary.
Factors such as self-confidence and self-compassion impact how one navigates decision-making and life change. Together we’ll determine what’s most helpful to you as you navigate change.

While we can’t make any guarantees, client’s often express feeling more supported through life change when they have a safe space to process what they’re feeling.
Trauma-informed therapy can help alleviate sticky feelings of grief and loss and assist clients in feeling more present.
Compassionate grief therapy can also help clients feel more confident in themselves and their ability to make decisions and find new meaning.

Session fees vary based on your clinician. Carli’s fee is $175. Elaine’s fee is $250.
We will meet weekly for the first month and then decide if we want to continue meeting weekly or shift to every other week, if clinically appropriate.
Payment can be made via cash, check, or card (including HSA).
While we do not accept insurance, we can provide a superbill (receipt) which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement if you’d like.

Our first step is to have a brief 15-minute consult call. On this call you can share a bit about your current situation or pain points in life.
We’ll take the time answer any questions you have about therapy in general or what it’s like to work with us.
Then if it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule our first 50-minute intake session.
